George Birtwell specialises in custom made four-poster beds.
Each bed is a unique sculpture and only five are made each year. Each one is built to order so that every detail of the design, from the hardwood structure to the mattress can be tailored to meet the requirements of the customer.
George's workshop is in the Cotswolds, where there is a plentiful source of interesting timber.
